Trafficking in Person Hero Award 2016 Washington USA.


Syeda Ghulam Fatima has been named a 2016 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Hero for her fearless activism to end bonded labor in brick kilns in Pakistan. Syeda is also the General Secretary of Lahore-based Bonded Labour Liberation Front Pakistan. This year's #TIPHeroes are nine men and women from around the world who have fought bravely and persistently against human trafficking. They were honored by Secretary of State John Kerry at the U.S. Department of State on June 30, 2016
